About the game
Legacy Race is a career and skills development board game where the goal is to acquire the largest wealth through personal development. Play requires the players to navigate the rectangular board of the game from the start point to the end point - the Legacy Gate, using a dice. Players acquire knowledge and skills, based on the kind of activities-space they fall into according to the throw of the dice, then choose desired and knowledge-related professions, solve profession-related problems, and earn money, which they use to acquire items. The player with the largest wealth at the Legacy Gate wins the game.
By playing Legacy Race, players discover 900+ career paths across 18 industries including technology, healthcare, manufacturing, creative fields, etc. They navigate realistic career scenarios, making decisions that reveal how different professions require specific skill sets. This hands-on approach creates lasting understanding of career pathways and the competencies needed to succeed in various fields.
The game mechanics reinforce strategic thinking about personal development. Players learn to identify skill gaps, prioritize learning opportunities, and create development roadmaps—internalizing strategies they can apply to their real educational and career journeys.
